Historische Bauten und Ökonomiegebäude widerspiegeln bis heute das Leben unserer Urahnen. Die Bauweise und die gewählten Materialien geben Aufschluss über das Leben, die Sitten und Bräuche.
Das Archaische und Authentische fasziniert mich und die Berge inspirieren mich! Aus diesem Grund begleiten sie mich als «munts», was im Sursilvanischen Dialekt «Berge» heisst, bei all meinem Tun. Es ist meine grosse Leidenschaft, ebenso passionierte Menschen zu begleiten, die solch wertvolle Zeitzeugen fachgerecht erhalten und ihre Geschichten in der Zukunft fortschreiben wollen. Die Bewohner solcher Juwelen sollen sich in einer speziellen und stimmigen Atmosphäre wohlfühlen. Damit das möglich wird, braucht es das nötige Gespür für Ort, Materialität und Besonderheiten der Bauweise. Gekrönt wird ein persönlicher Kraftort durch die Anwesenheit von Kunst. Nicht irgendeine, sondern von ausgewählten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern speziell für diesen Ort erschaffene. Sie tritt in lebendigen Dialog mit dem Gebäude und dem Ort und bietet den Bewohnern und seinen Gästen eine einmalige Atmosphäre.

Come along with me on a journey into the mountains, where you will discover exciting treasures and the histories of our ancestors and their cultures. Historical and agricultural buildings still reflect the lives of our forebears, and construction methods and chosen materials shed light on their lives, customs, and practices. I am fascinated by the archaic and the authentic, and very inspired by the mountains! As “munts,” which means “mountains” in the Rhaeta-Romanic dialect, they influence and guide me in everything I do. My great passion is to support those who share my love, who expertly and lovingly maintain such valuable witnesses of the past, and who want to continue writing their histories long into the future. The inhabitants of such jewels must feel comfortable in the special, harmonious atmosphere they create. For this to be possible, one needs to have a feeling for the site, the materiality, and the singularities of the construction methods. And finally, a place of powerful personal energy is crowned by the presence of art—not just any art, but works by selected artists made specially for each location. They enter into a lively dialogue with the building and the surrounding area, and offer inhabitants and their guests an utterly unique atmosphere.
